About Me
With a passion for photography and being inspired by my family, the environment that surrounds our home and natural light, I enjoy documenting life as it unfolds.
Meeting people and documenting their days at home or at work is great fun, but what I enjoy more than anything is getting into my studio, pulling the images from my camera and begin the editing process. It's this process where I start seeing a story, a moment or a brand image begin to unfold and that is really exciting.
As a mother, I know just how much you want to hold on to and cherish every single second and the smallest of details and I would be happy to photograph them for you.

A bit more about me
Since becoming a mother to two beautiful girls, I have been busy looking after my family and working for my husband and his oak framing business.
In 2015 I set up and worked on a passion project ‘The Woodland Wife’, sharing our life and products we love as a family on my blog and social media platforms. In recent years I have taken a step back from the world of social media and sharing our life there, focusing on our life ‘offline’.
I studied photography at art college and put the camera away during my career as a Graphic Designer. Moving into our woodland home soon after the birth of our first daughter in 2013, I began dusting off my camera to photograph the daily changes she went through.
We now have two daughters, two dogs, four hens, two rabbits and a tortoise; all of which inspire me on a daily basis, while also keeping me on my toes!
My Approach
Documenting Days
I enjoy photographing people and businesses during their usual day, in their home or outdoors. I don’t like posed photo sessions, so whether you want family photo session or your brand image captured, my aim is to take a non invasive approach. I am more that happy to include your children and/or pets in a photoshoot with me, just let me know in at the point of booking.
Natural is best
I believe that the best picture is the natural one. If you don’t tend to wear makeup in your daily life, then you don’t need it for the photoshoot! I have lights and soft boxes however I prefer using natural light and will shoot without artificial light where possible. If I visit your home, I will take some time to work out where the best light is and aim to use this.
Studio Photo Session
I have a studio with lights and backdrops and big windows, this is ideal for anyone who wants a more traditional style photo session or you are interested in product photography.
Brand Photography
It’s wonderful to meet local makers, creatives and small businesses who want to have a clearer approach to their business brand. Learning about your business I can help create some beautiful imagery documenting you at work and headshots for you to use both online and offline.
